Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar technologies MIR DIGITAL uses on mir.digital, what they do, and how you can control them.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work, make them work more efficiently, and provide reporting information. We also use related technologies such as localStorage in your browser when needed.
2. Cookies we use
2.1. Strictly necessary
These are required for core functionality and cannot be disabled in our system.
| Name | Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
crm_token | Signed HttpOnly session cookie for the internal CRM at /crm. | MIR DIGITAL (first-party) | 24 hours |
mir-cookie-consent | Stores your cookie-banner choice (accept / reject) so the banner stops appearing. | MIR DIGITAL (first-party, localStorage) | Until cleared |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare bot management — protects mir.digital from automated abuse. | Cloudflare | 30 minutes |
cf_clearance | Cloudflare challenge clearance after a successful security check. | Cloudflare | Up to 1 year |
2.2. Functional
We currently do not use functional cookies beyond what is listed above.
2.3. Analytics & measurement
We use Google Tag Manager (container GTM-K5VKLQ69) to load and manage measurement tags on mir.digital. GTM itself does not set tracking cookies, but tags loaded through it (typically Google Analytics 4) do.
| Name | Purpose | Provider | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes unique visitors for aggregated traffic analytics. | Google (via GTM) | 2 years |
_ga_<container-id> | Persists session state for Google Analytics 4. | Google (via GTM) | 2 years |
_gid | Distinguishes unique visitors over a 24-hour window. | Google (via GTM) | 24 hours |
Aggregated server logs (no cookies) are also used for capacity planning and incident response.
2.4. Marketing & advertising
We do not currently run advertising or remarketing cookies. If we add marketing tags in the future, they will be loaded through the same GTM container and listed in this policy.
3. Third parties
- Cloudflare — DNS, caching, TLS and bot protection in front of our origin server. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
- Google Tag Manager & Google Analytics — measurement. See Google’s Privacy Policy and ad-settings controls. You can opt out of Google Analytics on every site by installing the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
4. How to manage cookies
You can control or delete cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge). Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the site (such as the CRM login at /crm) from working.
5. Updates
We may update this Cookie Policy when our services or providers change. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent change.
